TriedThat is operated by Lashachi Inc., a Canadian company (“Lashachi,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).This Privacy Policy explains how TriedThat collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the TriedThat mobile application and related services.TriedThat is designed as a private memory for the things your pets have tried and how they responded. It is not a social network, public review service, veterinary service, or pet-care marketplace.
1. Information You Provide
Account Information
When you create or use a TriedThat account, we may collect information necessary to authenticate and maintain your account, including:• your email address;
• authentication and verification information; and
• an internal account identifier associated with your account.TriedThat currently uses email-based authentication. Authentication emails, such as verification or one-time-code messages, are transactional and are sent to provide access to your account.
Pet Profiles and Memories
When you use TriedThat, you may create private pet profiles and memories containing information you choose to provide, such as:• pet name;
• species;
• optional pet profile photo;
• optional pet note;
• item/experience name;
• reaction;
• optional note associated with the experience, if applicable;
• category, if applicable; and
• date/other information associated with the memory.This text-based memory information may be stored on our servers and associated with your authenticated TriedThat account.
Pet Profile Photos
You may optionally add a photo to a pet profile. Under the current TriedThat architecture, pet profile photos are stored locally on your device and are not uploaded to the TriedThat backend. Because locally stored photos are not part of server-saved account data, they may not automatically appear on another device and may be lost if local application data is deleted, the app is removed, or the device is lost, reset, or replaced.
2. How We Use Information
We use information collected through TriedThat to:• create and authenticate your account;
• provide and maintain your private pet profiles and memories;
• associate saved memories with the correct account;
• maintain your account across supported devices;
• enforce Free and TriedThat Solo account features;
• process and verify subscription entitlements;
• provide account and subscription functionality;
• enable account deletion;
• protect the security and integrity of the service;
• diagnose technical problems;
• prevent misuse or unauthorized access; and
• comply with applicable legal obligations.We do not use your private pet profiles and memories to create a public profile or public feed.
3. Private by Design
TriedThat is designed for private personal memory.Your TriedThat entries are not published to other TriedThat users.TriedThat does not currently provide:• public profiles;
• public memory posts;
• followers;
• likes;
• comments;
• social feeds;
• public ratings;
• public discovery of your memories; or
• in-app sharing of your private memories with other TriedThat users.Your account-saved pet profiles and memories are associated with your authenticated account and are intended to be accessible only as authorized through that account.
4. Location Information
TriedThat does not currently require or collect precise device location to provide its core features.
5. TriedThat Solo, Subscriptions, and Purchase Information
TriedThat offers an optional paid subscription called TriedThat Solo.TriedThat Solo may be offered through automatically renewing monthly and/or annual subscription options. The available subscription options, price, currency, and billing period are displayed in the app before you confirm a purchase and may vary by country, region, platform, taxes, or app-store pricing.Purchases made through the TriedThat mobile application are processed by the applicable app-store provider, such as Apple or Google. Lashachi Inc. does not directly process or store your full payment-card information for purchases processed through those platforms.TriedThat uses RevenueCat to help manage purchases, restore purchases, verify subscription status, and determine whether your account is entitled to TriedThat Solo features.In connection with a subscription, we and our service providers may process information such as:• an internal TriedThat account or app-user identifier;
• the subscription product purchased;
• transaction and purchase identifiers;
• subscription and entitlement status;
• purchase, renewal, expiration, cancellation, or refund status;
• the applicable app store or platform; and
• related technical information necessary to validate and provide subscription access.This information is used to provide TriedThat Solo, verify purchases, restore eligible purchases, prevent unauthorized access to paid features, troubleshoot subscription issues, and maintain appropriate transaction records.Lashachi does not receive your full payment-card number from Apple or Google if they process your purchase.Subscription billing, payment methods, taxes, refunds, and certain transaction records are also governed by the policies and systems of the app store through which you make your purchase.
6. Service Providers
We may use third-party service providers to operate TriedThat, including providers that support:• application hosting and backend infrastructure;
• database services;
• authentication and transactional email;
• subscription and entitlement management;
• mobile application distribution; and
• security and technical operations.These providers may process information on our behalf where necessary to provide their services.We expect service providers handling personal information on our behalf to use it for the purposes for which it was provided and subject to applicable contractual and legal requirements.
7. Advertising, Tracking, and Marketing
TriedThat currently does not use third-party advertising within the app.TriedThat currently does not use your information for cross-app advertising tracking.We do not currently send promotional marketing email through TriedThat.Transactional communications necessary to operate your account, such as authentication messages, are not marketing communications.If these practices materially change, we will update this TriedThat Privacy Policy and, where required, provide appropriate notice or choices.
8. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information.We may disclose information:• to service providers acting on our behalf;
• when necessary to operate, secure, or support TriedThat;
• when required by law, legal process, or valid governmental request;
• when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety, or security of Lashachi, our users, or others; or
• as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, subject to applicable law.Your pet profiles and memories are not made publicly available through TriedThat as part of the current service.
9. Data Retention
We retain account and server-saved information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide TriedThat, maintain your account, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect the service.When you delete your account, we will take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify account-associated personal information, including applicable pet profiles and server-saved memories, from active systems, subject to information that must or may be retained for legitimate legal, security, fraud-prevention, backup, or compliance purposes.Locally stored photos are managed on your device and may need to be removed through the app, device, or application-data controls as applicable.
10. Account Deletion
TriedThat provides account deletion functionality.Deleting your account is intended to remove your TriedThat account and associated server-saved account information, including applicable pet profiles and memories, subject to legitimate retention requirements described above.Account deletion does not necessarily cancel an active subscription billed through Apple or Google. You may also need to manage or cancel your subscription through the applicable app-store subscription settings.
11. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information handled through TriedThat.Access to server-saved pet profiles and memories is controlled through authenticated accounts, and the service uses authorization controls intended to prevent one user from accessing another user's private memories.No method of electronic storage, transmission, or security is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. International Processing
Lashachi Inc. is based in Canada.Our service providers or infrastructure may process or store information in Canada, the United States, or other jurisdictions in which they or their service providers operate.As a result, information may be subject to the laws of jurisdictions outside your province, state, or country of residence.
13. Your Privacy Rights

14. Age Eligibility
TriedThat is intended for individuals 18 years of age or older.We do not knowingly offer TriedThat to or collect personal information through the service from individuals under 18. If we learn that personal information has been collected through a TriedThat account belonging to an individual under 18, we will take reasonable steps to address the account and information in accordance with applicable law.If you believe an individual under 18 is using TriedThat, please contact [email protected].
15. Changes to TriedThat
TriedThat's features and data practices may evolve.If a change materially affects the practices described in this Privacy Policy, we will update this policy and provide notice where required by applicable law.
16. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Material changes may also be communicated through the app or by other appropriate means where required.
